Privacy Policy — WellMet

Effective date: June 13, 2026
Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WELLMET INC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the WellMet mobile application (“WellMet,” the “App”). WellMet connects people seeking in-person wellness services (“Customers”) with independent wellness professionals (“Professionals”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

WellMet is a directory and scheduling tool. We are not a party to the services arranged between Customers and Professionals, and payment for those services is handled directly between the two people, off-platform (e.g. cash or a third-party payment app). We do not process those service payments.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the App.

Information you provide

  • Account & profile details. Your name, email address, role (Customer or Professional), and, for Professionals, listing details such as services offered, rates, bio, and credentials you submit for verification.
  • Location / ZIP code. A ZIP code or general area so Customers can find nearby Professionals and Professionals can set a service area. We use a coarse area, not precise GPS tracking in the background. A Customer’s ZIP code is used only to power search and is never shown to Professionals.
  • Photos. A profile photo and any images you choose to add to a listing, accessed from your photo library with your permission.
  • Messages & bookings. The content of messages you send through the App and the details of session requests, schedules, reschedules, cancellations, reviews, and the private thumbs-up/thumbs-down feedback Professionals leave about a session.
  • Personalization preferences. For Customers, the wellness goals, interests, priorities, and session preference you select during onboarding or when adjusting your recommendations. We use these only to personalize what the App shows you; they are never shown to Professionals.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & push tokens. A device push token so we can deliver notifications (messages, booking updates, reminders), plus basic device information needed for the App to function.
  • Usage & diagnostics. Limited technical logs, plus crash and performance reports that help us find and fix problems. Crash and performance reports are not linked to your identity. We do not log the contents of your messages for analytics.
  • Listing view statistics. When a Customer views a Professional’s listing, we record the visit so we can show Professionals how often their listing has been viewed. Professionals see only view counts — never who viewed their listing.

Information from service providers

  • Subscriptions. Professional subscriptions are managed through Apple’s in-app purchase system and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We receive your subscription status and entitlement; we never receive or store your full payment-card details — Apple handles that.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The App is intended for adults.

How we use information

  • To create and manage your account and Professional listing.
  • To match Customers with Professionals and power search by area.
  • To enable messaging, bookings, reschedules, cancellations, reviews, and Professional feedback.
  • To send notifications and reminders you have enabled.
  • To verify Professional credentials.
  • To show Professionals statistics about their listing, such as view counts.
  • To manage Professional subscriptions and unlock paid features.
  • To keep the App secure, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

How we share information

  • With other users, as needed for the service.
    • Professionals: your listing (name, photo, services, rates, bio, service area, reviews) is public to Customers by design — that is the point of a listing.
    • Customers: when you contact or book a Professional, that Professional can see only your name and profile photo, together with the messages, session preferences, and booking details you choose to send them. We do not share your email address, ZIP code, or other account or contact details with Professionals. Anything beyond that is shared only if you choose to share it yourself (for example, in chat).
  • With service providers who run the App on our behalf — for example cloud hosting and database (Supabase), push delivery (Apple Push Notification service), and subscription management (Apple, RevenueCat). They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
  • In a business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Your push token is removed when you sign out or delete your account.

Your choices and rights

  • Access & update. Edit your profile and listing details in the App at any time.
  • Delete your account. Use the in-app “Delete account” option, which removes your account and associated personal information as described above.
  • Notifications. Turn push notifications on or off in your device settings.
  • Permissions. You control access to your photo library, calendar, and notifications through iOS permission prompts and Settings.
  • Regional rights. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
